Get your bike fit in 3 hours

In this introductory course, you will learn about the most important components of your bike and how everything works together. We will show you what regular maintenance is advisable, how to recognize wear and tear and how to extend the service life of your bike with simple steps. This will make you feel more confident and avoid expensive consequential damage.

Basics and care

A precise, play-free steering feel is the basis for control and safety. You will learn the structure and function of the steering head bearing, recognize typical symptoms of wear or incorrect adjustment and practise correct readjustment. We will also show you how to keep bearings clean, grease them and prevent premature wear.

Understanding the steering head bearing

Removing the rear wheel and changing the inner tube

Plates? No more stress. Step by step, you will practise safely removing and fitting the rear wheel, including quick release or thru axle. We'll change the inner tube together, check the casing for damage and give you tricks for working quickly on the road. At the end, every move is perfect.

Set the brakes correctly

Good brakes are non-negotiable. You will learn how to check brake pads, position them correctly and center brakes properly. We look at rim and disc brakes, explain how to brake in new pads and help you to permanently eliminate grinding noises or a spongy feel.
