In this workshop, you’ll learn what really matters when it comes to road bikes and gravel bikes: from proper initial setup—including the headset, brakes, and drivetrain—to maintenance, cleaning, and the most important basics for your first rides—whether in a group or on your own.
To make sure you ride safely from the very start, have fun on the road, and enjoy your bike for years to come, let’s take a look together at what really fits.

New Bike Check: What Should You Look For?
Final assembly check, torque settings, quick safety check, and common "new bike pitfalls"—especially for bikes purchased online or out of the box.
Brake & Shift Setup
Identify grinding noises, unusual sounds, and minor issues, and gain a better understanding of the transmission and brakes.
Electronic shifting system (Di2 / eTap)
What you really need to know: modes, rechargeable batteries, regular batteries, pairing, troubleshooting, and common issues—including quick fixes.
Cleaning, Maintenance & Preservation
How do I properly maintain my bike, how should I clean it, and how do I keep it in good condition over the long term?
We’ll take a look at what you should never put on the brake disc, how to properly clean your drivetrain, and when you should reapply oil or wax.
